I'd heard some rumors about a forthcoming documentary on the Monks, but nothing for some time.

But now... it's finished and in circulation! Monks: Transatlantic Feedback is the title, and the trailers look wild.

They'll also be playing a couple of shows in Germany and Austria in October to promote the release of the film.

Man, I hope this is only the beginning, and the film gets an American release, soon!

I don't expect to be able to see this at the local googleplex, but there are several small art/rep spaces in Pittsburgh that would show something like this.

Hm. Can't say I know much about the Monks, but the trailers are...intriguiging, to say the least. The ranting about Vietnam segueing into ranting about Iraq is very effective.

I like the poster. Don't know about the "first weightless pop group" quote, though. The Monks look and sound pretty heavy to me.

This is great! The Monks are great! Who ever imagined there would be enuff material for an entire documentary on The Monks???
