Balderdash - Grateful Dead types?

So I've come into this record on the Uni label by Boondoggle & Balderdash.
It's from the early 70s. It's kinda country-ish rock like Working Man's Dead fair. Apparently they had an album which is praised by some critics. I have had no luck locating this album, but am dying to hear it.
Anyone ever hear of these guys?

I found a copy of a single today...Uni 55296 (promo copy, too!). Any Road/Songs I'm Singin'.

It's not bad. The flip side is my pick though. Very close to a Dead vibe. No luck with the album though.
