a disc that seems to be lostI have tried to find a copy Shawn Colvin's version of Viva Las Vegas (played during the credits for The Big Lewbowski) but there seems not to be anything, anywhere. I'm not very web-savvy, nor am I a student of the music/record industry. Is this cut buried in some legal dispute? Where can one go to find a lost disc?

In this case, I don't know why it didn't make the soundtrack disc. There may have been some licensing issue, or maybe there wasn't enough space on a single disc.
The song is available though. Shawn Colvin's version of Viva Las Vegas, can be found on the 1995 Doc Pomus Tribute CD 'Till The Night Is Gone' - itself a bit difficult to find. It is available through Amazon, though or you could try checking with your local music store.
