Sounds like a good idea. Let's celebrate our local record stores! Sadly, it doesn't appear that there are too many stores participating in Pennsylvania (yet). Here's hoping they catch up.
If you visit the site, check out some of the store names...there are names I would have thought to be a joke if you'd told me you'd been to the "Vinyl Solution" in San Mateo...
I do like Circle Sky Records in Atlanta; nice use of a Monkees reference. Is there a Different Drum store anywhere? Or Papa Gene's Blues?
I may not be able to make it to Magnolia Thunderpussy in Columbus, but may take some time on the day to head to Record Connection in Ephrata.
Is anyone near any of the stores listed on the site? _________________ What a shame Mary Jane caught a pain at the party! |
