For anyone out there with an interest in Christian rock, there's a rather good article on its origins at Slate.com.
http://www.slate.com/id/2171430/
Although short, the piece covers the origins of the genre and quick histories of two key groups, Agape and the All Saved Freak Band (I seem to recall hearing this group at some point on Lost Discs).
It also mentions a documentary on a charismatic founder of the Christian youth/hippie movement that sounds intriguing, given the chap's lifestyle. |

David Koresh, was actually one hell (lol!) of a good guitarist. He used to hang around the clubs in L.A. Rev. Gene Scott's band always knocked me out, as well.
Peace!

I don't know if I've posted this pic before, but this seems an ideal thread for it...
Hail to the King!
