Man, what a fantastic show. I loved hearing all of the Floyd/Syd tracks, and the after hours was excellent. Kevin Ayers, Canned Heat (it was Canned Heat, wasn't it?) the Bare Wires tracks, and the VU. VUnderbar!
But I have to ask: was that the album version of Some Kind of Love? It sounded cleaner than I remember it...oh my gawd! As I'm typing, what comes on, but the Murder Mystery! Nirvana!
Keep it coming, Jim E.

Glad you was diggin' the afterhours stuff to, guys. Not sure what you were thinking was Canned Heat... but I DID spin lotsa John Mayall: Side 2 of Blues From Laurel Canyon, & all of Movin' On (in the pre-show) along with the aforementioned Bare Wires Suite.
This show & the afterhours were carried on 975 Pirate Radio & Grits Radio. Thanx to Cosmik & Brad for picking up the stream!
